| Gene Description | INHBA, inhibin subunit beta A, is a TGF-beta superfamily member that encodes the beta A subunit of Activin and has roles in development, cell self-renewal, and differentiation (PMID: 23787160, PMID: 24085226). Overexpression of INHBA is associated with several tumor types, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 31586103) and gastric cancer (PMID: 30718100), and has been correlated with poor prognosis (PMID: 24085226, PMID: 19308293, PMID: 29950896). | ||||||||||
