| Gene Description | ITGAV, integrin subunit alpha V, is a member of the integrin family of proteins that forms heterodimers with integrin beta subunits to regulate cell migration, proliferation, adhesion, and survival, and plays a role in regulation of cell signaling pathways, including TGF-beta signaling (PMID: 27139180, PMID: 12635172, PMID: 20139694, PMID: 32819225). An ITGAV-ALK fusion has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29472060) and increased expression of ITGAV has been identified in laryngeal cancer (PMID: 23226807) and colorectal carcinoma (PMID: 23705994). | ||||||||||
