| Gene Description | ITGB6, integrin subunit beta 6, is a subunit of the integrin alpha v beta 6 heterodimer, which is involved in intracellular signaling, cell proliferation, cell migration, and wound healing (PMID: 8592080, PMID: 9664040, PMID: 34493369). ITGB6 overexpression has been demonstrated in pancreatic cancer (PMID: 33073486) and cervical carcinoma (PMID: 34268416), and increased expression of the alpha v beta 6 heterodimer has been observed in several cancers (PMID: 19601768), including morphoeic basal cell carcinoma (PMID: 18451156) and serous ovarian cancer (PMID: 11872628). | ||||||||||
