| Gene Description | MGMT, O-6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase, is a DNA repair protein that plays a role in removing DNA adducts and regulates cell death (PMID: 19846906, PMID: 23684800). MGMT fusions have been identified in glioma (PMID: 32753598), and MGMT promoter methylation and loss of MGMT expression has been identified in various tumor types, including lymphoma, glioma, colorectal, non-small cell lung, and head and neck carcinoma (PMID: 26035292, PMID: 10029064, PMID: 19846906). | ||||||||||
