| Gene Description | MLLT3, MLLT3 super elongation complex subunit, is also referred to as AF9 and is a YEATS domain containing protein (PMID: 30288907) and component of the super elongation complex that is involved in hematopoietic cell fate regulation (PMID: 18371451, PMID: 31776511) and recruits DOT1L to sites of gene transcription (PMID: 25417107). MLLT3 gene rearrangements with KMT2A are frequently found in leukemia (PMID: 19262598, PMID: 30381403) and MLLT3 amplification and overexpression has been associated with poor prognosis in oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 31273053). | ||||||||||
