| Gene Description | MME, membrane metalloendopeptidase, encodes a membrane glycoprotein found on various cell types and plays a role in the activation of neutrophils (PMID: 21425402), normal B-cell development and differentiation (PMID: 27965895), and mammary gland development (PMID: 21425402). MME expression has been associated with multiple lymphoma subtypes, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PMID: 11293907) and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (PMID: 11781247) and increased expression of MME has been identified in several tumor types, including breast cancer, prostate cancer, and melanoma (PMID: 21425402). | ||||||||||
