| Gene Description | NCAM1, neural cell adhesion molecule 1, also referred to as CD56, is a member of the Immunoglobulin protein superfamily that plays a role in cell-cell adhesion, neuronal migration, and axon outgrowth (PMID: 3281256, PMID: 28791027). NCAM1 expression has been demonstrated in several tumor types, including acute myeloid leukemia, small cell lung cancer, and ovarian carcinomas (PMID: 28791027, PMID: 24091017, PMID: 27984374). | ||||||||||
