| Gene Description | NFIX, nuclear factor I X, is a transcription factor that belongs to the nuclear factor I family (PMID: 32219034) and plays a role in regulation of neural and muscle development, and in hematopoeisis (PMID: 28962832, PMID: 30287093). A fusion of NFIX and MAST1 has been identified in breast carcinoma (PMID: 22101766) and with PKN1 in secretory carcinoma of the skin (PMID: 31045890). | ||||||||||
