| Gene Description | NFKBIE, NFKB inhibitor epsilon, is a member of the nuclear factor kappa B inhibitor family which binds and sequesters cytoplasmic NF-kappaB to prevent its nuclear translocation and activation of target genes (PMID: 9135156, PMID: 9315679). NFKBIE mutations have been identified in lymphomas (PMID: 14595753, PMID: 26647218, PMID: 29857068), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 24920063, PMID: 26675346), and melanoma (PMID: 26343386). | ||||||||||
