| Gene Description | NTRK3, neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 3, is a membrane receptor tyrosine kinase that initiates signaling cascades leading to cell growth and differentiation when binds to neurotrophins (PMID: 23396845), and induces apoptosis when ligand-free (PMID: 23396845). Overexpression of Ntrk3 has been identified in desmoplastic small round cell tumors (PMID: 33229458) and ETV6-NTRK3 fusions are commonly observed in secretory breast carcinomas, spindle cell tumors of the kidney (PMID: 31075511), secretory carcinomas (PMID: 31423558, PMID: 31273600), and spindle cell tumors (PMID: 31112350). | ||||||||||
