| Gene Description | DTL, denticleless E3 ubiquitin protein ligase homolog, encodes for a protein that plays a significant role in cell cycle control, including preventing additional cell replication via CDT1 regulation (PMID: 17085480) and degrades PDCD4 through the ubiquitin-proteasomal pathway (PMID: 31409387). DTL amplification and/or overexpression has been found to be associated with several cancer types including gastric, hepatocellular carcinoma, breast, and Ewing sarcoma (PMID: 26472028), and is associated with decreased survival in breast and lung cancer (PMID: 31409387). | ||||||||||
