| Gene Description | PDGFA, platelet derived growth factor subunit A, is a growth factor that signals through the receptor-tyrosine kinase PDGFR-alpha, which plays a role in development, cell proliferation, and cell migration (PMID: 18483217, PMID: 29932922). Overexpression of PDGFA is associated with several tumor types (PMID: 24359404) and high serum levels have been associated with decreased survival in oral squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 32235327). | ||||||||||
