| Gene Description | DCUN1D1, defective in cullin neddylation 1 domain containing 1, encodes a component of the E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which binds to Ubc12 and cullin, thereby resulting in increased neddylation activity and subsequent assembly of the cullin-RING ligase complexes (PMID: 18826954, PMID: 21247897). DCUN1D1 overexpression has been identified in solid tumors including squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 15657565), prostate cancer (PMID: 29077169), and non-small cell lung carcinoma (PMID: 22500162). | ||||||||||
