| Gene Description | FRMD4A, FERM domain containing 4A, encodes a scaffold protein which links Arf6 with the Par protein complex and is involved in regulating cell polarity, cytoskeletal and membrane organization, and protein secretion (PMID: 20080746, PMID: 25388005, PMID: 27044754). Overexpression of FRMD4A has been observed in squamous cell carcinomas (PMID: 22564525, PMID: 27666346) and rectal cancer (PMID: 26893625), and a fusion of FRMD4A with RET has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 28115111). | ||||||||||
