| Gene Description | PAG1, phosphoprotein membrane anchor with glycosphingolipid microdomains 1, encodes a transmembrane adaptor protein found in lipid rafts, which binds to Csk to form a complex that negatively regulates the signaling of Src family kinases (PMID: 24213579, PMID: 18498747), thereby playing a role in immunoreceptor signaling including inhibition of T-cell activity (PMID: 12612075) and regulation of mast cell signaling (PMID: 25246632). A fusion with PAG1 and ABL2 has been identified in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 31255796). | ||||||||||
