| Gene Description | PRKCH, protein kinase C eta, is a member of the PKC protein family and a calcium-independent serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a role in signal transduction, and regulates cell cycle and differentiation, and early B-cell development (PMID: 12473186). Overexpression of PRKCH has been identified in breast (PMID: 24841225) and non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 22493394), and decreased expression has been identified in hepatocellular carcinoma, and colon and breast cancers (PMID: 30781807). | ||||||||||
