| Gene Description | PRKCZ, protein kinase C zeta, is a serine/threonine protein kinase that belongs to the atypical PKC subfamily, which plays a role in MAPK, NF-kappaB, and P70S6K signal transduction pathways, and regulates cell polarity (PMID: 12761192). Overexpression of PRKCZ has been identified in various tumor types (PMID: 20093003), including bladder urothelial carcinoma (PMID: 11554166) and pancreatic cancer (PMID: 12645342). | ||||||||||
