| Gene Description | EMSY, EMSY transcriptional repressor, BRCA2 interacting, is a chromatin modifying protein that regulates transcription and DNA repair via its interaction with BRCA2 (PMID: 24609898). EMSY amplification has been observed in sporadic breast and ovarian cancer and is associated with poor prognosis (PMID: 14651845), while overexpression has been associated with prolonged survival in high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (PMID: 31154673). | ||||||||||
