| Gene Description | AICDA, activation induced cytidine deaminase, is part of the cytidine deaminase family and regulates antigen receptor diversification and maturation of the humoral immune response through rearrangement of immunoglobulin genes by class-switching recombination and somatic hypermutation of immunoglobulin genes in B-cells (PMID: 32162335, PMID: 31127309, PMID: 31092637). Mutations in AICDA are associated with lymphoma, leukemia, and GIST (PMID: 23181381) and overexpression has been observed in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 30814061, PMID: 28388279). | ||||||||||
