| Gene Description | RPTOR, regulatory associated protein of MTOR complex 1, is a key regulator of the mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) activity, which regulates cell growth and survival (PMID: 29344641). Decreased hypomethylation of RPTOR has been observed in the peripheral blood of breast cancer patients (PMID: 27577081) and inhibition has been demonstrated to overcome EGFR inhibition in TNBC cells in cell culture (PMID: 29344641). | ||||||||||
