| Gene Description | RNF213, ring finger protein 213, is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase involved in angiogenesis (PMID: 21799892) and functions in maintaining integrity of the cerebral vasculature (PMID: 32182997). A fusion between RNF213 and ALK has been identified in anaplastic large cell lymphoma (PMID: 12112524, PMID: 28659337) and RNF213 fusions with MALAT1 have been identified in triple-negative breast cancer (PMID: 31745703) and in ovarian carcinoma (PMID: 30416686), and RNF213 mutations have been observed in metastatic gastric cancer (PMID: 30703342). | ||||||||||
