| Gene Description | NECTIN1, nectin cell adhesion molecule 1, encodes a cell-cell adhesion molecule (PMID: 10225955) that plays a role at neuronal synapses (PMID: 23027581), in viral entry and infection (PMID: 19805039, PMID: 12584355), and ciliary body formation (PMID: 15728677). Decreased Nectin1 expression is observed in gastric cancer (PMID: 30221498), whereas increased expression is observed in pediatric brain tumor (PMID: 30224769), and papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 20455254). | ||||||||||
