| Gene Description | RAD17, RAD17 checkpoint clamp loader component, plays a role in DNA repair of double-strand breaks through recruitment of the MRN (MRE11-RAD50-NBS1) complex upon activation by ATM (PMID: 24619000, PMID: 24534091). Loss of Rad17 may render tumor cells sensitive to chemotherapy (PMID: 23687379, PMID: 23637229) and targeted therapies (PMID: 26513298), and overexpression has been observed in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 11606373). | ||||||||||
