| Gene Description | RBBP8, RB binding protein 8, endonuclease, plays a role in transcription, DNA replication, cell-cylce transition, and DNA repair through homologous recombination repair with BRCA1 (PMID: 26713604). RBBP8 expression is decreased in breast cancer and loss may be associated with sensitivity to PARP inhibitors (PMID: 26713604) and increased mutation rate in colorectal cancer (PMID: 12414815), while increased Rbbp8 expression has been associated with decreased survival in plasma cell myeloma (PMID: 30622325) and RBBP8 promoter hypermethylation is associated with bladder cancer (PMID: 29445424). | ||||||||||
