| Gene Description | RFC5, replication factor C subunit 5, encodes the 36-kDa subunit of the replication factor C complex, which loads PCNA onto DNA (PMID: 9488738, PMID: 34751190), and is involved in DNA replication (PMID: 8692942, PMID: 10656791, PMID: 10656792) and maintenance of genomic stability (PMID: 33339954). Increased RFC5 expression has been demonstrated in HPV-positive head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 17079134) and lung cancer (PMID: 30214556). | ||||||||||
