| Gene Description | BRD2, bromodomain containing 2, encodes for an adaptor protein that is is one of four members of the bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) domain family, which are epigenetic readers (PMID: 31780938), and plays a role in acetylation and transcription during the mitotic cycle (PMID: 18406326). Overexpression of Brd2 has been associated with decreased survival in ERBB2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer (PMID: 30952871). | ||||||||||
