| Gene Description | ROBO1, roundabout guidance receptor 1, encodes a transmembrane SLIT receptor protein associated with axon guidance, and also plays a role in regulating cell migration, proliferation and survival, angiogenesis, and inflammatory cell response (PMID: 27578174, PMID: 31258778, PMID: 32398956). ROBO1 mutations have been identified in myelodysplastic syndrome (PMID: 26608094), multiple myeloma (PMID: 24429703), and colorectal cancer (PMID: 24247621), decreased expression has been observed in ovarian (PMID: 22132142) and cervical (PMID: 16700909) cancers, and ROBO1 overexpression has been observed in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 19114000), pancreatic (PMID: 25010661), and gastric (PMID: 28323002) cancers. | ||||||||||
