| Gene Description | RPS6, ribosomal protein S6, encodes for a member of the S6K substrate family, which upon phosphorylation plays a role in controlling cell size, cell proliferation, and maintaining glucose levels (PMID: 16679021). Increased phosphorylation of Rps6 has been observed in a variety of tumor types, including pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 23361300, PMID: 26490682, PMID: 26506236). | ||||||||||
