| Gene Description | RPS6KB2, ribosomal protein S6 kinase B2, is an mTORC1 regulated (PMID: 32054043) serine/threonine kinase that regulates translation and is involved in multiple cellular processes (PMID: 20953835), including the cell cyle and cell survival (PMID: 23898460). RPS6KB2 expression has been associated with risk of breast, lung, and colon cancers (PMID: 26577839, PMID: 24894543, PMID: 21035469), while RPS6KB2 amplification and/or overexpression has been identified in breast cancer (PMID: 32054043), and a mutation has been observed in high-grade GIST (PMID: 31570771). | ||||||||||
