| Gene Description | SDHD, succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit D, is the small membrane-bound subunit of cytochrome b in mitochondrial complex II that catalyzes electron transfer from succinate to ubiquinone (PMID: 21771581). SDHD mutations are found in paragangliomas, extra-adrenal pheochromocytomas (PMID: 16317055, PMID: 15328326, PMID: 19454582, PMID: 31492822), and gastrointestinal stromal tumours (PMID: 29070651). | ||||||||||
