| Gene Description | SELE, E-selectin, binds sialylated, fucosylated glycan ligands (PMID: 29272415) and is primarily expressed in the endothelium where it initiates and enables rolling and adhesion of cells for migration (PMID: 25301730), and may play a role in modulating the tumor microenvironment (PMID: 29272415). Targeting and detecting Sele (E-selectin) and associated ligands is an active area of investigation (PMID: 26834953, PMID: 29716546). | ||||||||||
