| Gene Description | CSMD1, CUB and Sushi multiple domains 1, is a transmembrane protein that plays a role in complement inhibition and has putative tumor suppressor activity (PMID: 23964079, PMID: 27764775, PMID: 28534981). CSMD1 mutations have been identified in colorectal cancer (PMID: 18614856, PMID: 23505554), and CSMD1 loss has been demonstrated in several tumor types, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, lung cancer, breast cancer, and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 19276661). | ||||||||||
