| Gene Description | STIL, STIL centriolar assembly protein, is a component of the centrosome that initiates and regulates centrosome duplication in dividing cells (PMID: 25342035, PMID: 27112295), and plays an important role in brain development and carcinogenesis (PMID: 29352115). STIL-TAL1 fusions have been identified in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 8350619, PMID: 25304610, PMID: 28671688), and Stil overexpression has been identified in lymphoma, melanoma, lung, ovary, colon, prostate, and breast cancer (PMID: 15107824). | ||||||||||
