| Gene Description | WNK1, WNK lysine deficient protein kinase 1, is a serine/threonine protein kinase involved in regulating ion transport and cellular processes, including immune function, proliferation, migration, and survival (PMID: 20094755, PMID: 21248166, PMID: 28178566). WNK1 mutations have been observed in breast, colon, lung, and brain cancers (PMID: 20094755), a WNK1-ROS1 fusion has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 30797499), and a WNK1-B4GALNT3 fusion has been identified in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 25803323). | ||||||||||
