| Gene Description | AURKC, aurora kinase C, is part of the aurora serine/threonine kinase family (PMID: 28147341) and regulates chromosome segregation during meiosis (PMID: 30415701). AURKC amplification and overexpression promotes proliferation and migration of tumor cells (PMID: 21710690, PMID: 23581231, PMID: 28147341), and AURKC variants may increase risk for gastric cancer (PMID: 31521144, PMID: 27270838). | ||||||||||
