| Gene Description | TRA, T cell receptor alpha locus, encodes the T-cell receptor alpha chain, which heterodimerizes with T-cell receptor beta chains to form alpha/beta T-cell receptors that are expressed by T-cells and function in recognition of foreign antigens (PMID: 15999096, PMID: 9099797, PMID: 15998791). TRA fusions are associated with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (PMID: 33467425, PMID: 32150610). | ||||||||||
