Gene Description TNFRSF1B, TNF receptor superfamily member 1B, is a membrane receptor that mediates TNF signaling, thus regulates immune system function and is potentially involved in tumor immunity (PMID: 32083339). TNFRSF1B mutations and amplification have been identified in T-cell lymphoma (PMID: 22573350, PMID: 26258847), decreased Tnfrsf1b expression has been identified in lung cancer (PMID: 30989732), and TNFRSF1B polymorphisms have been identified in breast (PMID: 25010932), colorectal (PMID: 24762198), non-small cell lung (PMID: 21995493), and esophageal cancer (PMID: 20646319).
