| Gene Description | TPBG, trophoblast glycoprotein, is a transmembrane protein involved in inhibition of the Wnt/B-catenin pathway (PMID: 22100263, PMID: 24582434), and has been found to play a role in cytoskeletal organization (PMID: 8895545, PMID: 7593330), cellular motility (PMID: 8895545, PMID: 7593330, PMID: 20376365), angiogenesis (PMID: 31018661), and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 17507657). Overexpression of TPBG has been identified in a variety of solid tumors including malignant pleural mesothelioma (PMID: 22498111), and bladder cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, and lung cancer (PMID: 2404511). | ||||||||||
