| Gene Description | CACNA1D, calcium voltage-gated channel subunit alpha1 D, encodes the alpha 1 D subunit, which forms the pore in voltage-gated calcium channels (PMID: 29079724, PMID: 21746798), and plays a role in cardiac pacemaker activity (PMID: 12700358, PMID: 26786159) and neuronal remodeling and development (PMID: 26459417, PMID: 24683526). Overexpression of CACNA1D has been identified in prostate cancer (PMID: 36949059, PMID: 24054868) and observed in colorectal cancer (PMID: 29079724) and endometrial cancer (PMID: 25805831). | ||||||||||
