Gene Description FAT4, FAT atypical cadherin 4, is a transmembrane receptor that regulates cell proliferation, motility, differentiation (PMID: 31217854), planar cell polarity, and the Hippo signaling pathway (PMID: 29435168). Recurrent, somatic mutations in FAT4 have been reported in various human cancers (PMID: 25151357, PMID: 24951259, PMID: 24744582), including HBV-associated hepatocellular carcinoma, colon, gastric (PMID: 31312661), esophageal (PMID: 31395065), melanoma, pancreatic, and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 31217854).
