| Gene Description | SUV39H2, suppressor of variegation 3-9 homolog 2, is also known as KMT1B and is a lysine methyltransferase that methylates histone H3K9 to regulate gene transcription (PMID: 30763986) and the cell cycle (PMID: 30719171). Overexpression of SUV39H2 has been reported in a variety of tumor types, including leukemia, lymphoma, lung, breast, colorectal, gastric, hepatocellular, and esophageal (PMID: 30719171). | ||||||||||
