Gene Detail

Gene Symbol CD276
Synonyms 4Ig-B7-H3 | B7-H3 | B7H3 | B7RP-2
Gene Description CD276 (B7H3), CD276 antigen, is a member of the B7 family of immune checkpoint regulators (PMID: 30035102) and may be a co-inhibitory protein for T-cell activation by binding to a currently unidentified receptor (PMID: 28685773). Overexpression of CD276 (B7H3) has been observed to correlate with poor prognosis, cell migration, and cell invasion in many solid tumor types including, endometrial, cervical, breast, kidney, colorectal (PMID: 30035102) and possibly pancreatic (PMID: 29996538).
