Gene Description RBM10, RNA binding motif protein 10, plays a role in regulating RNA splicing and expression, and acts as a tumor suppressor by promoting apoptosis, reducing cell proliferation, and inhibiting tumor growth (PMID: 29274279, PMID: 30955253, PMID: 24000153). A RBM10-TFE3 fusion has been associated with microphthalmia-associated transcription factor family translocation renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 30622287), and RBM10 mutations have been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 22980975), and astroblastoma (PMID: 30803556).
