| Gene Description | CAPZA2, capping actin protein of muscle Z-line subunit alpha 2, is a member of the F-actin capping protein alpha subunit family that regulates the growth of barbed ends of actin filaments (PMID: 7665558). CAPZA1 is frequently amplified in melanoma, ovarian, esophageal, lung, and stomach cancer (PMID: 29190909), and a CAPZA2-MET fusion has been identified in endometrial cancer (PMID: 26689674). | ||||||||||
