| Gene Description | CASP10, caspase 10, is an initiator caspase primarily involved in apoptotic signaling as it is recruited to the death-inducing signaling complex, binds to FADD, and subsequently activates downstream effector caspases, which then execute the apoptotic process (PMID: 12884866, PMID: 11583996, PMID: 10412980, PMID: 11717445), and appears to be involved in the regulation of inflammatory cell death (PMID: 36323068, PMID: 16585540). CASP10 mutations have been identified in gastric cancer (PMID: 11973654) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (PMID: 12010812). | ||||||||||
