| Gene Description | CUL1, cullin 1, is a member of the Skp1-Cullin1-F-box E3 ligase complex (PMID: 30653357), that controls cell cycle progression (PMID: 16633365), and may regulate the NLRP3 inflammasome (PMID: 30653357) and may inhibit Gli family transcription in the SHH pathway (PMID: 30588243). CUL1 expression is associated with poor prognosis in breast cancer (PMID: 23592700), has been observed to be overexpressed in urothelial carcinoma (PMID: 27312089), and CUL1-BRAF fusions have been identified in melanoma (PMID: 31618628) and low-grade serous ovarian cancer (PMID: 26324360). | ||||||||||
