| Gene Description | OGT, O-linked N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) transferase, catalyzes the addition of an O-GlcNac to serine or threonine residue of the target protein (PMID: 25825515), therefore is involved in diverse cellular processes including metabolism, immune response, neuromuscular functions, epigenetic regulation, and tumorigenesis (PMID: 28488703). OGT fusions have been identified in high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (PMID: 31745703) and myoepithelioma-like hyalinizing epithelioid tumors (PMID: 31567281), and Ogt overexpression has been identified in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 23554759), lung cancer, and colon cancer (PMID: 21255644). | ||||||||||
