| Gene Description | PPFIBP2, liprin-beta-2, is a member of the transmembrane protein-tyrosine phosphatase interacting protein family, which are scaffolding proteins involved in the development of neuronal synapses (PMID: 21462929). PPFIBP2-BRAF fusions have been identified in thyroid cancer (PMID: 28351223) and melanoma (PMID: 30254212), and a PPFIBP2-RET fusion has been identified in thyroid cancer (PMID: 28351223). | ||||||||||
