|Gene Description||INPP4B, inositol polyphosphate-4-phosphatase type II B, is a lipid phosphatase that catalyzes the degradation of PI(3,4)P2, thus terminates Akt pathway signaling, and may play a role in inhibition of proliferation and migration (PMID: 26022180, PMID: 21127264). Decreased expression of INPP4B has been identified in solid tumors including prostate, ovarian, and basal-like breast cancer (PMID: 21224358, PMID: 21127264, PMID: 19647222), and in leukemia (PMID: 22072402).|
