| Gene Description | HERC2, HECT and RLD domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 2, is an E3 ubiquitin ligase involved in DNA damage response (PMID: 22508508, PMID: 25355518, PMID: 25305019), suppression of G-quadruplex formation (PMID: 30279242, PMID: 31582797), cell cycle progression through regulation of BRCA1 stability (PMID: 20631078), and DNA replication (PMID: 21775519). HERC2 mutations have been identified in skin cancers (PMID: 36883553), T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 29352181), and gastric and colorectal carcinoma (PMID: 22124266). | ||||||||||
